Screaming tortoise

Hi I have a terrestrial tortoise and he is screaming
Normally I have Heard to soak him in water that’s exactly what I am doing
This has been happening for a past few months
This is really very important as no vets have opened due to the pandemic

I presume you mean silent screaming? Mouth open and twisting neck?
My Tidgy did this for a few weeks after I rescued her from her torturers as she was in a lot of pain. Her neck mostly, I think.

What species? Post a pic? All tortoises are terrestrial, but different species have different care needs. All species need much more variety and better foods than that.

When does he do this? Only when he's soaking? Certain times of the day? After eating? The sound...does it sound like he is in pain? Is it loud?
Does he eat, drink, pee and poop normally?

I've never heard of this before, so just trying to get an idea of what's going on.
