You don't like Andrew from ATC? At TTPG last fall some of our leading Kinixys keeper folks went out to his place. As far as I know there's no ill will there or facility problems.
I like Andrew just fine, though I can't say he feels the same about me.

I ask again: Do you know how he starts his babies? And I say again: I do.

No I don't. Even though I see you have a zillion posts on here does everything have to be done your way or it's the wrong way? Getting too overbearing has a habit of making you lose credibility sooner or later.

One more time. Last time. Look into how his babies are raised. Ask him. Ask for pics. Then let's have a conversation about what is overbearing, and what is trying to help people not make a terrible mistake.

You are arguing with someone who is well acquainted with the subject matter, while you yourself are completely ignorant of the subject matter, and you insinuate a lack of credibility on MY part? I've been to his place and seen it first hand. I've answered dozens of PMs from his customers about why their babies are dying. I've personally talked to Andy about this subject. In what way am I being overbearing? In what way am I lacking credibility? I've also been to one of Andy's sources. There were racks of dozens of tubs outside all day and night, with babies on rabbit pellets, no water bowls, and some wilted romaine in some of the tubs. We stopped counting dead babies when we hit 24 after just a few tubs. Does this sound like a recipe for success? Does this sound like a source that should be recommended to someone who just lost a baby that may very well have come from this same source?

My post count has nothing to do with any of this. There are people who start babies well, and there are people that don't. Why don't you try it both ways, and then come back and tell me how overbearing and lacking credibility I am. Buy a half dozen babies from these sources you recommend and house them the way they do, or the way they recommend. Then buy a half dozen babies from me, and raise them the way I say to raise them. I already know what the outcome will be. Dozens of people on this forum have done it both ways, and they know what the outcome will be. You, apparently, do NOT understand the difference and do not know what the outcome will be.

As Tom stated... Austin at Arizona Sulcata is great. I got mine from him and is very healthy and growing like a weed! I believe he offers a 1 year health guarantee which is unheard of. Good luck and sorry for ur loss.

Its senseless to even go back and forth. It's about the animal you know. You would want them to have the best health they can. And if that means being overbearing then that's what it means. If they can't handle it then don't make the pet suffer. I hope everyone does their research the whole point i feel in breeders is to help pinpoint the bad things and the good things. I wish all these beautiful creatures a happy long healthy life.
