This is Leo he is a Leopard and is 8 to 11 months old, He lives with a female Sulcata also 8 to 11 months. I'm worried about the center lower portion of his belly that looks someones skin after a really long bath, or does his belly look normal? It seems as though it has become less rigid over the last month. Any help/insight would be helpful I have more pictures if needed and having issues finding a rep vet.

Thats normal its just the umbillical scar healing up:tort::)
Thanks and should we be worried about how soft the overall rigidity, cause it definitely seems as though it and lost some vs 3months ago, the shell pieces are hard but connections seem super fragile. The sulcata alot more stiff/rigid.

Well hatchling shells are a little softer for about a year or so, but i am not sure if thats what your experiencing . I am not really an expert on the matter.

That tort doesn't look too healthy for being 8-11 months old. Can you provide details regarding it's enclosure, lighting, feeding? Pictures would be good

How long have you had this baby? Why do you think he's 8-11 months old? Where did you get him?

That is the umbilical scar, but it should have been completely healed before you got him. This is an indication that he was not started properly by the breeder. Tom has been flagged...he will know more.

Also, the two babies should not be living together if you mean they are in the same enclosure. Plus, you have mixed two species, which should also never be done. The sully will grow faster than the leo, and bullying will start. And if the leo has an infection in that scar, you have exposed the sully to it. Different species carry different pathogens and can easily infect each other. They need to be in separate enclosures ASAP.

How is the young sulcata doing, by the way? Have you noticed any issues with the sulcata?

Who did you get them from?

So I was wrong about age he is 5-8 months and the sulcata is the same age and shes active and eats all the time, They got them at 1-3 months in May of this year , for now they've been sharing a 15sq ft tortoise table with repti bark and two houses, as for food, its mixed greens twice a day and sprinkled with calcium powder twice a week and a tortoise chow?? Twice a week. They belong to my brothers wife but she hates technology, which is why I'm on here and not her. The lighting is dual heatlamp uvb thing 1 heat bulb 1 uvb bulb I dont know the percentages heres more pics of leo and lilly all these pics are from yesterday.

Can you share where they came from? It may or may not be important. Sometimes it matters.

Those tortoises are being kept too dry and suffering from it the care needs to change please give this care sheet to the owner and get her to follow it. Humidity is very important for the health of baby tortoises

CB Reptile is where they came from and I'll send a pic of the enclosure when I get there.
Thanks. By any chance, has your sister-in-law noticed any yellow spots or yellow bumps on her baby sulcata? Or any other health issue on either tortoise?

I didn't notice any signs in the pictures. I only asked because we've been seeing a number of baby sulcatas on the forum lately with yellow bumps or yellow spots (on the skin, usually on the legs), and I didn't want to miss that issue if it existed.

Here is their home if you have any recommendations for improvement, as far as too dry they're between 70-80% humidity except for when they're outside.
