3 toed Tom, the sweetest boy, will not eat fruit, veg, or anything that isn't moving. Meal worms and superworms he's very receptive too. I'm yet to try a hornworm because the ones I saw look really big for him. What can I do?

How I convert this type of eater is to chop the desired food up into small pieces, moisten it, set out a pile then add the wiggly items onto the pile. As the tortoise bites at the worm he inevitably also gets some of the desired food. Over time they come to realize everything on the feeding station is tasty.

Try chopping up some Mealworms and superworms and mixing it with some finely chopped fruit and or veggies.

How old is he? When they are young they define what is food by whether is moving or not. As they get older, it's the smell. Sometimes I have found that box turtle Will refuse a food but if I offer it once and a while eventually they may decide to give it a taste. Bugs and worms are their natural food so at least he's eating healthy!
