I bought a temp gun and the basking rock is 83 degrees. The tank on the heat lamp side is around 84 degrees with 80% humidity. I have a large flood light fixture with an incandescent light bulb with 100 watts. What am I doing wrong? It doesn’t seem to heat the tank much so i am having to keep my heat emitter on 24/7. Any tips are appreciated.

The product in the picture is likely a eco-incandescent bulb. It's not a 100watt bulb, it's a 72watt bulb. It's also a spot bulb which is something members here don't recommend using over a incandescent flood styled bulb. Different bulb shapes = a vastly difference in performance. Get a refund and buy incandescent flood bulbs instead.

I don't know how far your basking bulb fixture is to the substrate but you need the substrate level to be around 100F. You either need to lower the fixture or get a higher wattage. My guess is that you probably have a open enclosure setup which is why you're using such a higher wattage bulb.

Oh!!! Ok I wasn’t aware that there were incandescent flood bulbs. I’m not sure the exact distance. My enclosure top is a screen but I’ve put tin foil on the top for now and it helps with the heat of the enclosure and the humidity. What temp should the basking rock be? 100?

Yes 100F. I suggest you re-read the care sheets linked in your previous threads to make sure you'll not missing anything else.

These are the flood bulbs: https://www.lightbulbs.com/product/...MI29bk_eLa6wIVwB-tBh1nOQ7OEAQYAiABEgLsVfD_BwE

You'll need to run them in a ceramic based fixture, and you need to be able to raise or lower the fixture to get the temperature under it correct. Best to hang the fixture from overhead and this makes is easy to set it at the correct height, and make season changes if needed. This means the screen top will have to go.
