Hello,
I’m new to this and got a pet horse-field tortoise called Sheila on Saturday and I’m just reading through bits of this website and not sure if the reptile shop have told me right.
for bedding I am using green colour pellets, they didn’t tell me about having to soak her daily but I read that here. He just said that she needs as much light as possible apart from when we are in bed so switch it off at night and switch back on in the morning. I’m feeding her spring greens, cress and carrot. Just wondering if there are any tips to get her settled and happy and healthy as I don’t want anything to happen to her!
I don’t handle her the photo was when I was transferring her to her new enclosure
Thanks
