Okay so I've had my tortoises from when they were small
Even though I had rescued this female from dogs that chewed on her shell I tried to keep an eye on her growth cause I wondered if it'll affect her .
So now the males that were slightly younger than her are now out growing her and she hasn't really grown much and her shell doesn't look like how it should .

So how would u know if it's the environment or food that's affecting her growth or the fact that her shell was cracked from early on?

You put your thread in "General," so we don't know what species all three of them are? Same? Different? And which species?

I'm pretty sure their red-footed tortoises
Same species for all two
And sorry I'm new here so was still trying to figure out how things work here

Yes, we'll have to see pictures of the tortoises, top and bottom shells. Because there are two types of RF tortoise and one doesn't grow as large as the other.

Sorry for the confusion, but I was reading your post like you had a dog chewed female, then you also have "males" that are slightly younger than her, so I was assuming you had three RF tortoises. No? Anyway, pictures please.

Here
Those dogs did a number on her, for sure. The central scutes (above the spine) also look a bit out of kilter, but I would guess this was more congenital in nature rather than physical damage from the dogs. As long as she appears hale and hearty, with a good appetite, good nutrition, good environment, etc. I wouldn't worry too much about her growth rate; that may well be out of your control. If you had them, it would be instructive to see earlier pictures to compare to this recent photo.

I'd have too look to see if I have older photos but from what I remember she had a white shell and like that back part was basically missing .
