We have a South American redfoot who is in need of a new, proper home. We have had her for 7 years and unfortunately due to life changes we are not home enough to take care of her. She is in good health and is very active. I am located in Annapolis, MD. I can pass along her enclosure as well although it’s time die something larger. Email me at [email protected] for more info.

Redfoot are very sought after.
Make sure to ask MANY QUESTIONS of anyone that wants to take it off of your hands.
Separate good candidates from someone wanting a tortoise on an impulse or someone wanting to re sell it.
There should be enough interest that you can pick out the best suited one.

I am not getting any hits on a new home for my red foot. Any suggestions?

We usually close 'for sale' ads to keep back and forth conversation off of them, but since you're not getting any hits, I've decided to leave this one open. You can try selling on the online reptile classifieds like fauna.com or kingsnake.com, or even craigslist.com. Do you have a nextdoor app in your area? That's a good place to sell too because it's just your neighbors.

I'd love to see a picture of her... I've been thinking about adding a redfoot or two to the one I'm already living with....

For some reason I am not able to load photos. It is asking for a URL link when clicking "Insert Image" and drag and drop is not working. I can send to email if possible. I will keep trying

I'm clear across the country in Seattle or I'd be interested in providing a good home for her.

She is a nice, healthy looking Redfoot! Thanks for sending the photos.
Somebody needs to give this girl a home!
I've replied to your email.
Thanks again.

I was not planning on selling her but maybe that will help keep away those with bad intentions. Any idea what is a good price?
