This is my new son, Saffron!

He was hatched on August 18th, 2018 (a bit older than I expected, but that’s not much of an issue), is eating adult mice, and weighs 170 grams. He is a super pastel.

So far he is very curious, hasn’t balled up at all, and is exploring his quarantine enclosure.

Does he look alright? Does he seem like a good weight for his age?

He was ordered from XYZReptiles.

Beautiful snake. I'm not a snake lover, nor hater, but my daughter got a ball python last year and she's growing on me (the snake, not my daughter, she's always been great)

Ah, so THIS is why you've been quiet on the "tortoise" forum!!! (I see you're wearing your Tortoise forum shirt, though)

Yeah, I’ve been a little busy lately with school ending and my new snake, haven’t had much time to comment on many posts. I do read through them daily though, lol ;)

And yep! Love my tortoise shirt lol

Since he had his third meal on Sunday, it was finally time for me to handle him! He is so curious. Didn’t ball up once, spent the entire time tongue flicking and slithering around, tried to go up my shirt at one point, and did an amazing job being held. He’s got such a strong grip, and can support his body very well. So happy with him!

Beautiful snake, patterns are amazing. I would get into the snake business however the family are not to keen about keeping frozen rodents;)
