Hi everyone,

I could not find a good cart to move Lumpy, so I decided to make one. I thought I would share here.

Both ends open like a pickup tailgate. Wheels in the middle so you can tilt it like a roll off car transporter. I pull down on the push bar to tilt it and then slide Lumpy in.

Tires are flat free solid and good for 250lbs each. Capacity should be 900 lbs, but I doubt I'll ever need that capacity. It does double as a yard cart too.

I wanted to call it the LumpyMobile, but was overruled by my daughter who insists LumpyKart better.

I am with Lumply Kart as well...perhaps if you are going to move at "such high speeds" (LOL) you may want to use a cushion for the transport....lol and great job by the way :)

Thanks everyone! I like to build stuff. Plan to build an insulated home later this year before winter. He currently has a home (which he no longer uses), but it would be difficult to add insulation.
When one of my Manouria tortoises wouldn't go into the shelter at night I searched the web and found this:

I will have to fly you out to Cincinnati so you can teach me how to weld. lol
It's not difficult to learn, but takes a lot of practice to make nice looking welds. I started with a simple wire feed welder, which is like a MIG welder, but without gas. I'm not too good at making nice looking welds, but am able to make strong somewhat ugly welds.
