So i have been patient and waited a long time. My older male is 46 grams and one of my females is now 50 grams.

I am going to introduce them tomorrow, after she finishes shedding. We'll see if they can be kind to each other and if they want to breed.

Well i put him into her enclosure this morning and when he got close to her, he clamped his sharp teeth onto her face. i was able to get them apart and put him back into his own enclosure. We might have to do this slowly..I know Gargs can be rough with breeding, but her face didn't need holes in it.

Yikes! Poor girl.
I know nothing about breeding lizards. I do know in a lot of animals letting them live side by side seeing no touching helps with intro's. Maybe try that and give it a week or so and try putting them together again. Maybe put him with his face to her tail. At least if he wants too bite again it won't be her face.
Good luck, sure hope it works out. I want too see little ones.

So i have done more research and altho i knew they can be aggressive while breeding, i think the best thing was a cooling off, and now i have tried agian in her enclosure, I placed them far apart to allow them to get to each other slowly. It has been a few hours and no going near each other. If nothing happens by tonight, i will put him back into his enclosure again. I want to be available if they get crazy aggressive again. ( well, it was him, but females can also get aggressive) going to try to do this right so nobody gets hurt.

So i have been trying a few hours at a time, and they had a few moments today. Marble the male wants to get things done, but Limestone told him she was not taking any crap. So i am happy she stood up for herself. They are currently together and chilling out. Tonight is probably going to be when they become active.

Here is a pic of Marble today. His horns are pretty impressive for a gargoyle.

So, the 2 geckos are living in her enclosure for now, and during the day, they keep to themselves. During the night i am asleep. But they both seem fine, no war wounds. I am going to conntinue to monitor them and allow this living situation as long as they both look healthy and happy. About 2 weeks is what i'll give them. Gargoyle Geckos can retain sperm, so even if she does not lay fertile eggs the first time, she can still lay about 6 months of fertile eggs after the one breeding.

updating. i have kept Marble in with Limestone again for the past 2 weeks. She then started digging in the container i provided for eggs. Every day there was dirt all over, and you could tell she was digging, but it was messy. Last night i happened to see her in the lay box, and she looked like she was in position to lay eggs, but i could not tell. this morning, the lay box was looking as if she never dug in it. She had it all covered nicely. So i dug thru it, and found 2 eggs. One was an obvious dud, the other seems to have the red cheerio in there. so i put it into my hatch container and i guess i have to wait.
