I recently purchased a Cherry head egg from Tortstork and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Randy (Tortstork) answered all my questions and guided me along thru the process, he really knows his Torts. The egg was shipped to me last Tuesday on day 158 of incubation. It started hatching yesterday (Sunday) at 162 days. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants hatch their own Tortoise. This is my new Tort "Large Marge" about to enter the world! Stay tuned........IMG_20181220_144903631.jpg IMG_20181222_135008679.jpg IMG_20181223_163532866.jpg IMG_20181224_051640103.jpg

So cool - great going. Large Marge? Not Rudolph, or Dasher, Dance, Donder or Blitzen, Comet or Cupid? But Large Marge?

Good luck - nice Christmas present.

Now I remember this naming discussion in the CDR... LOL.. my memory is worse by the day.. I truly feel that since the egg has decided to hatch right in the holiday that it would be totally ok to for @Toddrickfl1 to change his mind:)

I love this!!!
It's been a pretty amazing experience actually. By the third day though I was getting a little nervous. Tortstork told me to get rid of the substrate and use wet paper towel in and over the cup and that this would simulate rain and let her know it's time to hatch. Sure enough about 12hrs later she pipped!

That is so cool I wish I could have hatched my Skurt. Can’t wait to watch this one grow.

That was the only way I wanted to get another was if I hatched it myself so when I seen Tortstorks ad I couldn't resist. Now I already want to do it again but next time get the egg as soon as it's laid.
