I was thinking the same, but he is very brightly coloured and the Angulate has more of a dull brown shell. I do think it's more than likely an Angulate. Thanks so much
Hi Angie.
I looked at those pics again that you sent through to me. And I actually think that it is an Angulata. You do get darker coloured Angulata as well. How is she doing by the way?Screenshot_20181117-175651_Gallery.jpeg

Oh ok. Awesome. I thought it was as well, but was confused by the darker shell. I fetched another on Tuesday from the same house, also bitten, but not as bad. They have been in isolation and soaked in betadine twice a day. Today I put them both in the enclosure and they seems to be doing really well. The isolation seemed to stress the bigger one out and he is So happy to be walking free. It's going a lot better than I expected

Glad to hear that she is doing better. How many did that house have. They shouldn't have any if the poor things are being bitten like that.

They never knew they were there until they found the dog with them. They don't understand where they are coming from. But they are safe now and they are going to keep a look out to see if there are any more.

Oh shame. Poor tortoises. I really hope that there are no more which get hurt.

Hi Angie,

Just wondering how this little one is doing? I would love to see more pics of your torts and to hear how they are all doing in fact. Did you ever move your male to the front and are they now consuming more weeds on a regular basis?
