i resentley bought some Nastrusiam how long do you think it will be before it's safe to feed my Sulcata? I have re planted them in my own organic soil.

I've read many conflicting view on this as there really is no real answer. However, a good rule of thumb is a year after the replant.

Nasturiums will go to seed before a year (in other words, they die out every year and then grow the next from the seeds left behind).

So yours won’t technically be safe to eat before they die off.

Nasturtiums are pretty easy to grow from seed so if you have the right climate for them, you might just grow them yourself instead.

I was thinking the same thing. Pretty easy to grow from seed, but i would venture to say that the flowers th3mselves are probably ok to feed. I can’t imagine garden centers actually fertilizing nasturtiums ( seems a waste ). Best to just grow from seed and be safe.

Thank you for your replies :) I was hoping I could make them last longer and feed part of fall/winter in Sheldons room but they stopped growing o_O so I will plant again in the spring :tort:
