Have you taken him to the vet to see if he needs deworming? I had no idea it was possible in a tortoise but I had that problem in the beginning.

QUOTE="Jimb, post: 1434312, member: 77300"]wow!! My little Maximus must be a "Pygmy" Sulcata .. he's only grown a little in past 14 months. I'm in no hurry but a little quicker growth would be nice. ;) That's a 6" dish he's sitting in.

My little guy hatched January 20, 2017. He eats anytime he isn't sleeping! I'm going to start weighing/measuring tomorrow.

Hello vetbridge, please create a new thread about your problems.
Here in this thread your questions are difficult to find.
Do you have a sulcata hatchling ?
How do you keep him ? What temps and humidity are in the enclosure of your tort?
Can you please show us pictures of the enclosure, your tortoise and your heat and UVB system ?
What do you feed ?
Many questions but they are necessary to help you and your tort.

here is this year's update on Sullivan

6 months 8-13
363 gm
5" carapace (SCL)

18 months 8-2014
1600 Gm
8" SCL

24 months 1-2015
3200 Gm
10 " SCL

30 months 6-2015
3980 gm (9.2#)
11" SCL

36 months 1/2016
10.564 Kg (23.29#)
15" SCL

48 months 1/2017
19.5 kg (43#)
20" SCL

He walks to door to come in at night and still exhibits decreased activity if below 70 degrees for any length of time (except high 60s for a half hour to munch and sunbathe). When he knows it is warm he goes to the back door and sits in the sun waiting to be taken outside. he has an outdoor habitat but likes milling around the large lush yard with everyone.
