Where did you get your Aldabras from?

I've done extensive research and found a few breeders in the US. I'm really interested in hearing where everyone got their Aldabras and how your experience was. Thanks in advance!

Got Uncle Bri from Chris Estep at Toucan Jungle. Had a great experience with him.

If you have a lot of ready cash, my two 16 yrs olds are looking for a new home.

Because I'm 78 years old and they're getting to be too much for me to handle. That and the fact that next year or so the street next to their yard is to be widened, making it necessary to move them to a different place on my property.

Beautiful animals for sure.

Shylalove, make sure you check out the "breeder" here on the forum. There are some absolute scam artists lurking out there when it comes to high dollar tortoises.

~ If you have a price for one and/or both, I know of a few possible customers. You can e-mail the price(s) to me at [email protected].

:(:(:(:(:(

Please make a thread with pictures of them before you find them a good home.

Yvonne, those tortoises are beautiful!! If I had the right backyard and a lot of cash, I'd take them in a heartbeat. I hope you find a fantastic home for them! And @shylahlove , if I were you, I would either seriously consider Yvonne's aldabras or contact Aldabraman to see if he is selling any hatchlings? I've never had experience buying an aldabra as of yet, but Aldabraman is the man to ask questions.
