Is it weird that I haven't seen my baby sulcata pass any urates? I have seen poop and I have seen pee but nothing white.

I wouldn't be too concerned. They can be very sparse in a well hydrated tortoise and there's not much from a baby anyway.

Urate is how your tort gets rid of excess proteins. Be concerned if they appear and they're gritty.

if your tortoise is peeing without them that means your tortoise is very well hydrated I wouldn't be worried

If you are soaking daily, as you should be, this is normal. I can't remember the last time I saw urates come out of a baby sulcata.

So @Tom, if i have 12inch sulcata, let's say i manage to soak him daily, do you think he will still have no urates?

Depending on his history, he might drop some from time to time, but after a while I would expect to see less. Also depends on where and how he is housed and diet too.
