Redfoot and cherryheads eating fruit

Cute little buggers! How old are they and what is that fruit they're eating? (Inquiring Redfoot owners want to know).

thanks the redfoot are yealings around 18 months old and cherryheads 7 months old they are eating persimon :D

My husband would be horrified! Persimmon is one of his favorites! I guess it is no different when we in Florida feed our mangos. Nice pics and adorable torts!

The Cherryhead guys look to be catching up with the older kids fast! Did the redfoot grow fast, then level off? Or were they steady?

(I'm just trying to figure out if my beast is going to be a record-breaking 200# redfoot.)

Well the Redfoots grew slow at first and this past summer they grew a ton, and now it seems like they slowed down a bit. Now the cherryheads are growing a lot and catching up they are a fun herd to watch grow one of the cherryheads is marbling on its plastron already :rolleyes:o_O
