Why are there white lines around my 4 year old hermann's pyramiding spots

I have just got my tort back after being on holiday for 3 weeks and have noticed white lines around her pyramiding spots. Has anyone seen this before?

My tort has had problems with pyramiding from when we got, i have tried everything i have been told but nothing seems to have worked. Can anyone suggest anything else?

So you mean growth lines? A photo would help.

Without a pic am an only guess that it is probably new growth lines.

Could be new growth that is drying out like the old growth did, or it could be hard water stains.
