Ok so will the tube be the only option?

Your choices are a tube florescent bulb, or a MVB (Mercury Vapor Bulb). MVBs have the additional benifit of providing heat as well as UVB, but are rather expensive.

Update: I got a Zoo Med Mercury vapor bulb. The sulcata got somewhat better, he still can't fully open his eyes though I have been soaking him daily. I got a plastic that can cover the enclosure but I will be changing the enclosure as soon as I can find something for sale for the right price around where I live
