Where do you get your plants?

Hi I was just wondering where everyone gets their plants for tort tables/enclosures? Is there a place online to order tort safe plants or are you just getting them from Home Depot/lowes? I know you need to be careful of pesticides and such so I am not sure where to purchase them.

Most will go,to Home Depots and stuff. If you can find a nursery that only grows organic that would be great. You can also Google for places on line that sells tortoise safe plants. Some of them will say they are grown safe too.

In addition to what Barb said, you might check neighbors, Craig's list, even other members share.

If buying from a store, try to buy and clean their soil and let them grow out for as long as possible before adding to your tortoise's enclosure.

Great. Thanks for all the help! I wasn't having much luck finding a website that sold plants that were tortoise friendly.
