What type of plant? Safe for Leopard tortoises?

Here is another random plant/weed growing in our lawn, I have no clue what it is, hoping to get some ideas here on what it is. I live in Southern CA.

I think that might be henbit.

My horses always ate around it in the pasture, so I'm assuming it's not edible.

on a another note I also have this growing wild in my lawn do you happen to recognize it?

That's not edible either. I can't find it on Google, but when it grew in my pasture, the horses wouldn't eat it.
