What is Gladys?

I have been thinking Gladys is an eastern box turtle, but now, I am not sure... let me know what y'all think... we do not know how old Gladys is.

Because of the mottled skin on the head it sort of looks like a Coahuilan box turtle. She's not an eastern.

She isn't from Mexico... she is an eastern Louisiana turtle

It's hard to tell from that one pic, but I think either gulf coast boxie, three toed boxie, or a hybrid of the two. I will say I agree with oneeyedClyde. I have a boxie from that region and that pic looks a lot like my boxie's parents. They were three toed/gulf coast hybrids from Louisiana.

She is an amazingly beautiful Gulf Coast Box turtle, tan or brown. I have one that is a bit larger but not nearly as beautiful as that one!

She's 100% gulf coast if that's where she was found. She is avert impressive female
