Hello everyone,
I am very excited to finally have joined the tortoise forums, we have been using the site for information for awhile now but never actually joined. My boyfriend and I live in the Houston area and became tortoise parents about 9 months ago. We got Franklin off Craig's list last May. He is a adult male sulcata, we were told they believed he was about 20 years old or so. Anyways...we took him home and have been in love with him since. He has so much personality, he loves to roam our 1 acre lot which he has free reign of most of the time and often sneaks into my vegetable beds and steals well I'd say a snack but let's be real...he'll take down the whole plant if he so chooses to haha. Well that's a little bit about my Franklin, I'm glad to be joining the community...see ya'll in the forums!!!
