Vinyl door flaps for my tort houses

I've been asked a number of times where I buy the vinyl to make the door flaps for my tort houses.

Since a picture is worth 1,000 words, I thought I'd share the photos of what the roll looks like. It's sold at Home Depot on a roll for few bucks per sq. yard.

It also found in Tap Plastic but I believe will be much cheaper from Home Depot.

Definitely help if it save money.

So there is no confusion, you do have to cut the strips into it. I cut mine in larger strips, about 2 inches wide and the height of the opening and all the way through so I would have individual strips. Then I stapled mine, over lapping a little to a board and then screwed the board over the opening. Over lapping them helps to keep wind out.

wal mart stores that sell fabric have 3 different thicknesses, the thickest is $3.47 a yard and 54 inches wide. I built some easy to dump and clean ponds for the russians, the yellow foots and Sylvia, and it so far they are holding up well. I also re-did the flaps on Walkers doors, using the wal mart vinyl.
