Video: feeding a fuzzy to my tortoises

CAUTION, this is not a video for the faint of heart! My boyfriend caught a time-lapse video of my three redfoots sharing a small fuzzy mouse. I can barely watch it but they defiantly enjoyed their treat!

Please tell me the mouse was already dead? I highly doudt that a tortoise could catch a mouse in the wild to eat, so they would most likely only get already dead ones. I hope

The mouse were purchased frozen from the local pet store. My tortoises require protein in their diet and that is the way the natural food chain works.
