So I am still working on my outdoor enclosure for my gulf coast box turtles. All the important stuff is finished (containment, hides, some plants, etc.) and now I am just working on making it look better. I started off with a group of 3 adult males, 2 adult females and one juvenile female. Well since people have found out I have box turtles and an enclosure in my backyard I have had 2 more turtles added to my collection from people who were just wanting to get rid of them. One worked out perfect because it was a nice big gulf coast female to add in to the mix and then yesterday I acquired a 3 toed female. What does that mean for me? Time to build another enclosure and hopefully start a 3 toed group! Talked to a few local folks who are keeping their ears and eyes open for me in hopes of finding a nice male for this girl! Will try to post pictures of the 2 newbies from me phone in the next comment and if not then will post them this afternoon when I get home from work!
