Box turtles are also completely terrestrial.

Collection for the pet trade is often cited as a major cause of wild population reduction, but in most cases it is a minor factor at best. Still, I agree with your assessment that people seeking a pet would be much better served with a CB animal, and reducing the needed number of WC animals is an excellent goal for everyone. I'm doing my part. :)
