Tortoise trust??

Is it true what they say, if a tort eats out of your hand comfortable, he/she trusts you??

If so, my Fred trusts me now :) and at long last, my hetty :) both came over to me for food!! Happy happy happy!!!!!!! All 3 are now :)

I'd say yes...
be carefull with handfeeding tho. some get to used to it and will only eat from your hand, and some like to bite. Some people will not like that!

I don't always feed them out of hand, only once every few months :)

I wouldn't say it trusts you, I would say it has got you well trained.

It's a good indication of being comfortable with you, though some may do it just because they are hungry and not necessarily 'trust' you. Or they are just trained to, as dmmj said.

And that pic of the Aldabra being hand fed is just a thing of beauty.

Either way, it's certainly both fun and heartwarming to feed by hand.
