My rescue sulcata maui has a misshaped shell and today i noticed 2 tiny scraped areas with a thin flap of skin on the sides of her back legs. No blood. Not deep at all. I watched her all day and realized its Her legs when she withdraws into her shell getting snagged on the sharp parts of her shell. What should I do, I don't want her to hurt herself or be uncomfortable. I didnt think filing was an option.

I have medical tape and have temporarily taped the sharp part of her shell so It isn't as abrasive

Actually, filing is an option. You can round out the edge by filing it. Just be careful not to file too much off. It's just like your fingernail. You'll hit the 'quick' if you file to much.

A nail file or an electric file? How will I know where the 'quick' is? I really just want to round out the sharp parts just so they don't nick her.

A nail file, carefully. You'll know you've hit the 'quick' because it will bleed a little. If you stick the bleeding nail in some flour that will stop it...
