Tortoise stuff for the garden... I found one!

It seems impossible to find tortoise "stuff" for the garden (lots of turtles, very few tortoises) and I finally found a flag for Tuleo's outdoor oasis we are building.

I think Tuleo likes it!

(I keep him away from the society garlic in the (staged) photo shown as I cannot find any info on it. Anything grown from a bulb is NOT safe, correct?)

That is very cute. Hostas and dahlias (s?) are both from bulbs, and are ok.

I didn't even think about that Jodie! I know WE can eat Society Garlic but cannot seem to locate anything specific about it for the torts.

WAIT WAIT WAIT you can just fence a area for your tortoise and not worry about hawks an cats is there a certain thing you do or? please responded I must know

are you looking for turtle and tortoise statuary for the garden if so if you have a Rite Aid they usually have tons of stuff

no I mean if I had a open oasis like you wont stray cats groundhogs and hawks be able to get in and eat my baby =[

I've never had a problem with stray cats are groundhogs and mine live outside

did you have a problem with hawks
no not hawk either I live closer to the mountains and we do have them around but they don't bother them. my problem is raccoons that's why I have night boxes

what are night boxes and how do they keep raccoons away

the night box has a sturdy hide with a locking door to protect the tortoise at night from predators

wait so the tortoise goes in all by themselves and is it safe for daytime predators

some go in by themselves.others have to be put in. Yes it can protect them from daytime predators as well
