Quick tip on torts who hate car rides... What I usually do is snuggle up with Shellie or let her sit in my lap, which usually calms her and she
she doesn't pee and poop everywhere LOL.

Are you guys in the UK? Someone mentioned that PetsMart sold imported adult torts. I'm wondering if that's because they're in the UK, and torts have to be shipped to the UK, although here in the US, I'm pretty sure that the PetsMarts here have a breeding program. I've checked, and the US has PetsMart supplier mills here. Some of them are good, some bad. The employee who introduced Shellie to me had torts of her own, and said Shellie was three months old. Shellie was very healthy. Her shell was not pyramided or peeling. Her eyes were clear, no water or bubbles, except maybe a couple of bubbles, I can't remember perfectly, because that was nine months ago. She was also very mellow, friendly and tame. I think she came from a good supplier mill, and people keep telling me she's grown a bit, so she wasn't five or six, because I think that's about the time they stop growing. I'm just trying to figure out exactly how old she is.

I took Shellie on vacation with me!! Here she is eating some broccoli! We went to a private RV park, and I gave her some broccoli. She loved it!!

I have taken her on only two vacations, both to the same place, but she loves coming with me. She saw her first fireworks there. She liked some, but was pretty scared of the very loud ones. Me and my grandparents decorated out golf cart and went to the golf cart parade. Shellie tagged along and rode on the golf cart with us. She got loads of attention!!!

Awesome! I'm actually on vacation at a private rv park as we speak. The baby torts had to come along for proper care of course.
