Especially for Kelly - and of course anyone else that's transitioning themselves to the differences of caring for redfoot tortoises vs ALL of the others ( African and the Med's.. that is ).

You're experiencing what it's like to get the habitat and diet "back to normal" after they've been kept and fed the way they have.. from where they've come from.

Once you get yours on track.. this is what you can expect when they discover that food is present.. maybe not this many of course..

And they're really piling up here.. with the exception of a couple.. these are all available..

PRICELESS! In the first video, I love how one little guy decides he should go UNDER the mob! TOO FUNNY!

I can't wait until even one of my RF's reacts this way to food!!! Heck, I was excited today as we got our first shipment from Reptile eats, and Sasoy ate (after I showed her the food)! She ate yesterday too! Two days in a row! Makidach munched a little today (again I had to bring her out to the food). And to top it off, the new girls weren't interested in food this morning but I left it in there for now and Shuto (the big girl) was sitting next to the food this evening! This is the first movement either of them have made! I didn't stay to watch - didn't want to freak her out - so I'm hoping she ate something!

You've got to get excited about the little things in life!!!

Thanks for sharing those videos!
