That is pretty good gain for a small sulcata, so yes. Normal and good.

each scute has like 5-6 growth lines on it.
i would say he/she is around 4-5 months old. if it were a year i would assume there would be around 11 or more growth lines

canoli is 6 months old and has roughly 7 growth lines

Not necessarily, they vary at growth rates and some new growth can go faster or slower. I have 2 leopards Hatched in Sept. both in separate enclosures. In November they both weighted the same. Now one is 200 grams and the other is 100. Totally different in size and growths lines.
