Sulcata feeding schedule

For a hatchling sulcata, how often should it be fed? Every day? Every other day? Every third day? And how much should it be fed? I've read that the tortoise should eat all of its body weight each day. So if the tortoise weights 1 pound, it should eat 1 pound of food. What schedule do you have your sulcata eating on?

Feed it as much as it will eat all day long of the RIGHT foods. They are grazers. They need to eat. People used to recommend food restriction because they mistakenly believed that food caused pyramiding. It doesn't. Pyramiding is caused by growth in conditions that are too dry.

What is the "right" food? Check this out:

I always had food available for my sulcata. I've never heard the weight in food per pound of the tortoise. I'd say it should be that the pile of food should be the size of the tortoise.
