can i feed my tortoise with carrot???? i really dont know what to feed him....
I just fed him with cucumbers, tomato and apples

No...none of what you've mentioned is good for a star tortoise. Go to the produce market and look for dark, leafy greens.

hello and Welcome to TFO......... don't ever feed apples or any sweet fruit or any food containing sweetness, sucrose, dextrose, sugar extra.... indian star is a ""high fibre low protein&sugar diet"" tortoise...... their alimentary canal/stomach can't handle sugars...... cucumber is okay but not regularly as it has nothing but water in it so your star is going to be deficient in vitamins and fibre which isn't good for health....

here's a list of what you should and can feed :

hibiscus leaves and flower

coriander :

methi patta :

jasminum sambac (mogra) leaves and flowers moderately :

aloe- vera:

grass( without any pesticide/insectiscide)
