IMG_2533.PNG My tortoises were forced to live inside for a few days due to the hurricane and my travel schedule. Now they are happily back outdoors but today's weather is very dry and windy with low humidity. So the new three got their first soak here. They didn't like it much so I cut it short. I think it had to do with the semi transparent tub. The older two have really grown and could almost see over their tub.

I usually do add more but only used what was already warm in the hose. Once the cool water came out I stopped.

Glad you made it through the hurricane, I've been apprehensive to ask you FL folks in case things didn't go so well...

My reds love soaking, I usually run them a bath and dump them all in the tub and make them swim for a few (supervised) minutes before lowering the level for a soak.
