Oki-doki, I am just asking a question here:
the tails on baby turtles of many breeds are very long, but when the breed grows up - the tails become normal and or or even short, so my question is: where does this crazy long tail go? Box turtles for example... it is such a mystery to me this tail thingy :) who has experiece? what happens to the tail? thank you :)

The tail doesn't go anywhere. The body just catches up! The tail is an extension of the spine. That proportionally does not grow as much as other body parts. Just as a baby human's head and torso are propotionally larger. As we grow, our limbs catch up!
