Shelf

Does anyone have a shelf in their indoor enclosure? Thinking of making a vivarium / closed chamber for our Hermann and want to maximise the floor space.

I took a wooden crate from the craft store and cut one side out so is served as a hide . Then I added a ramp using a plank of wood and hinges....

Be careful not to put any water dishes under the fall area. I'd like to think I trained my tortoises to go up and down the ramp without going over the sides. But who knows, maybe I just got lucky.

Looks good! I'm thinking of something at least half the size of the floor to really maximise the space.
Is it very humid in there? Looks like there's a fogger on - never used one but they look cool.

That's cool, I like the little barriers to stop any tortoise diving.

Well, I'll have to find some video, but they can't seem to figure out that they can't fit under the rail. They walk down about 90% then try to slide off, but can't.
