Shanghai reptile show 2016 (pic heavy )

Well I was planning to post it long ago but I'm being super procrastinating...
I went to this "aquarium &reptile show " in Shanghai back in Oct 2016. It was mainly "aquarium " and reptile was just a small part of it , but the mere size and variety of turtles shocked me .



This is just the "reptile show " part . It had two other huge pavilions of koi, Asian arowana and discus fish show tanks and competitions . Red Asian arowana


One of the tortoise Breeder showroom . They breed thousands of "popular " tortoise species like sulcata ,leopard , red foot every year and a lot exotic ones like Aldabra .

Cuora Trifasicata .i see about a hundred about them at the show from various vendors combined .

Wow, that's incredible the amount of turtles/ torts that were there. That's not how the reptile shows go here. I watched a video of the one that was a couple of weeks ago here and it was mostly snakes. I hope you go to another and will post more pics!

Yes exactly. From time to time you find some "exotic" stuff but normally there are testudo which are common in Europe and other "normal" turtles. Nothing imported...
