Sounds like you have the heat issue figured out. I don't let babies go below 75F at night. Basking around 100F. If this is open mouth breathing, I suspect it is, he is very sick. By the time they are doing this they are quite sick. I would keep this baby very warm for several weeks. 85F as a minimum. Make sure humidity is around 70%. Antibiotics may be needed.
