When a neonate hatches in the wild does it sit in the egg absorbing the egg sack(and probably eating some egg shell) then rise to the surface after the sack has been absorbed, or does it break out of the egg and start digging it's way to the surface whilst absorbing the eggsack as a source of food(energy)?
