Removing a Russian tortoise

I have to move out of the house I am living in and I don't know where I will be going. My Russian is definitely a male so he will stay on the smaller end, he has a great personality, knows his name and he bonds easily with people. I can give you everything, his setup and lamps and any bedding I have left over. Please help me out, I don't want to ship him anywhere, I live in Massachusetts, if you are in Mass or in close states we can meet half way. I do not want to bring him to a shelter, it hurts so much that I have to give him up.
