All my turtle will try to taste your finger through the glass. Some of our guests will occasionally think it would be fun to see what they'd do if you put your finger right in front of them. They only do it once when one of my big Suwannee cooters tries for a finger snack!!!

ALL THE TIME! Hahaha. Luckily they learned to respect my hand. I had to wave my hand at them when I put it in the water to scare them off, or they would try and bite my fingers off while I was doing stuff in their tank.

I've got one right now I'm nursing untill he can be released.
He was mauled by a bird and dropped 50 feet onto a black topped parking lot.
But he still bites at anything that might be food.
He's just a hatchling.
