Does anyone have any suggestions on what types of plants are allowable in enclosures for Hermann's? My tortoise's home seems a little boring plus I think putting some plants in the corners will prevent him from trying to climb out of the enclosure.

Thank you!

Hi Franco. You can visit this site for some ideas. http://www.thetortoisetable.org.uk/

I would start with Carexes, they are sturdy and won't get trampled, also they offer shade. What substrate are you using? Coco coir will sustain many plants. Most garden centers will have them. I would let them sit and air out for a couple months before putting them in to avoid any pesticides etc.. from going into the substrate.

I'm using the coconut coir as my substrate! I'll definitely check out the site for ideas. Thank you :D
