Terry, do you keep yours in brackish or fresh water? If brackish, what concentration of salt?

Markw84 - KEEPING IN FRESH IS ASKING FOR TROUBLE.. AND IS CRUEL TO THE TERRAPINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hatchlings at around 6 months old I start adding salt for a reading of 1.004 .. each couple months I bump it up a couple points until they are in 1.012 - 1.014.

The Gulf Coast ADULTS I keep in no less than 1.016.. that would be the M. t. macrospilota and other integrate .piliata/littoralis.

They are always fed in a separate container of fresh so they can drink.
