Welcome to the Forum, Deepak!

Unless you bought your new Russian tortoise from a breeder, it's probably older than two years. Pet stores, not really knowing much about tortoises, think that because Russian tortoises are so small, they must be very young. Not so. The Russians you get in pet stores are closer to 8 or 10 years of age.
