Hi everyone, first time posting on here and just wanted some thoughts on my new turtles first enclosure. The Temps on the hot side of the tank are around 95 degrees and on the right half where it's cooler it doesn't get any hotter than 70-75. Also the humidity is 50%. He's barely 4 inches and I'm not exactly sure of his age but was curious to if I should move where his hiding rock is or if it's fine where it is. I measured underneath of it briefly and it wasn't anymore than 80 degrees. But was still wondering if it has the potential of being bad somehow. I plan on building an outdoor enclosure eventually but with it being so cold it'll have to wait.

I would get rid of those wood chips and get some coconut coir. Also what kind of UVB bulb do you have?

I'm not an expert, but I would suggest using something more shallow for water. Everyone seems to suggest the terra cotta saucers used for potsUnknown.jpeg
