We are in North Florida, and there is so much info on the world wide web. I am so glade I found this forum, it has truly eased my mind in a lot of areas.

Of course we made the first mistake and purchased them from a pet shop. But so far they seem to be doing good and thriving.16215580_10211862212060747_1765645194_n.jpg

Welcome to the Forum.

Now, hurry to the Sulcata section and read ALL of the do's and dont's on Sulcatas. Then read all of the sections on How to Raise Sulcatas. While you are reading, make sure give your babies a good long soaking in warm water! Then, make sure you have two separate enclosures set up in a safe enclosure with good damp substrate. Keep all dogs away. Make sure you read all the info on proper temps and lighting?

Hurry, lots to read! Good luck and keep checking back in with updates.

So why are their shells two different colors?
And the one on the photo by his self feels bumpy and the lighter one is smooth.

Should I be concerned, I have introduced alfalfa and Bermuda mix. And I have ordered grass fed tortious feed to add to their diet.

I agree, it is probably genetic variance.
Just make sure you give them regular soaks to stop the bumpier one getting much bumpier.
