Hi guys,

My names kev, i live in rugeley in west midlands in the uk. Looking for info on tortoises as im intersted in caring for one. Any help and advice is appreciate

Welcome if you live in the U.K. I would imagine a Russian or something small for your first tort:)

The Testudo tortoises, Greeks (T Graeca), Russians (T Horsfeldi) and Hermann's (T Hermanni) are widely available in the UK and relatively straightforward to care for in our climate

You need to be aware that even though they're the smaller size, they still need a minimum of 4' x 8' (1.5 x 2.2 metres space)
